knowledge of God

1 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;

2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;

Understanding comes from Father God, also through people as wise counsel.

3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; Wisdom, Justice, Judgement, and equity are important for success in the life of a person.

4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.

Knowledge comes when man begings to have the fear of God.

the word subtilty means (1) in a good sense: 2 Samuel 13:3, chakham, "wise," "Jonadab was a very subtle (the American Standard Revised Version "subtle") man" (discreet); Proverbs 1:4, `ormah, "prudence," "to give subtlety to the simple," the American Standard Revised Version and the English Revised Version margin "prudence"; The Wisdom of Solomon 7:22, leptos, "thin," said of the spirit in Wisdom (very fine or refined); 8:8, strophe, "winding," "subtilties of speeches"; Ecclesiasticus 39:2, "subtil parables," the Revised Version (British and American) "the subtleties of parables";

5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: A wise man will hear the voice of God... Through people or things that are being used by God. Be vigilant in seeing and hearing in the natural, and in the Spirit. Wisdom comes from the mouth of God. It is a spirit that calls out to its people, and invites them into her house.

6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. This takes practice in the skill of hearing God's voice and how He communicates to his people. Are you being tossed to and throw by not listen to God.

7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Are we a people who do not fear the Lord? Honor and respect the Lord.

Psalms 34 : 7 The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. The angels work on your behalf.

9 O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. all your needs will be met. as you remember to honor and respect the Lord.

Proverbs 8:13 - The fear of the LORD [is] to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. Matthew 10:28 - And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Ecclesiastes 12:13 - Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this [is] the whole [duty] of man. Proverbs 14:26 - In the fear of the LORD [is] strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge. Job 28:28 - And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that [is] wisdom; and to depart from evil [is] understanding. Psalms 33:8 - Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. Deuteronomy 10:12 - And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, Proverbs 14:27 - The fear of the LORD [is] a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death. Proverbs 3:7 - Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. Psalms 25:14 - The secret of the LORD [is] with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant. Luke 1:50 - And his mercy [is] on them that fear him from generation to generation. Can you see the benifits of taking this action before the Lord.

8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: They, Mother and Father have lived a fuller life than the youth they help bring into the world, and have given the spirit of wisdom / gift of wisdom to come apon them.
